Vision and Mission

Introduction

The Lanyado Fund was founded in September 2011 with a funding source made available by the Chair, Dr Saul Lanyado.

Initially The Lanyado fund has made several donations to a variety of charities across the UK and internationally. The Trustees have now developed a strategy to guide their grant making and this is laid out in this document.

Vision

Our vision is for every child and young person in the United Kingdom to achieve their full potential regardless of their start in life.

Mission

Using music and art as tools for change, our mission is to provide opportunities through educational training and activity programmes for children and young people in challenging circumstances to develop their life skills to enable them to achieve their full potential

Our Method

We achieve our vision and mission through funding organisations to provide a range of tailored programmes in preschool, primary and youth settings in deprived areas and those who face challenges from their disability.
